Since studying ceramics at a local college of art and design and working in two local potteries

I have now been working creatively at Alby for 20 years. Originally my work was more sculptural. It currently focusses almost exclusively on decorative ceramics, specifically the techniques of sgraffito and raku, creating two very contrasting bodies of work: light, colourful, bold carved plates, bowls and vases, and rich dark boxes and ornamental pieces.
